Hairies at Messingham

Again an indifferent weather forecast but nonetheless, keen to photograph the Hairy Dragonflies I set off early for Messingham. It was much cooler than the last time I was here on Sunday but there were still many damsels flying, most now in adult colouring. It wasn't long before I found a four spot chaser, but it was towards the end of the morning before a hairy surrendered.
